Setting the foundation: triple 32” curved monitors paired with the Fanatec ClubSport DD+ wheelbase and V3 Inverted pedals. All this mounted to the rigid Sabelt S99 Cockpit. Clean lines, brutal precision — the perfect start for Cup Car 2.0.
Version 1.0 came alive with custom 3D-printed parts and a backlit button box, letting me control every in-game detail without ever leaving the track.
This was my first test of a custom side-impact bar — an essential piece of realism. Even unpainted, it hinted at the serious immersion I was chasing.
Every detail mattered. The center console, safety nets, and intricate design work transformed Cup Car 1.0 into more than a rig — it became a virtual cockpit.
Lighting took Cup Car 1.0 to the next level: over 500 LEDs and four Govee light bars blended into a breathtaking 180° ambient glow for pure racing atmosphere.
The driver’s view that started it all — my custom POV, framed by the original button box and wrapped in the energy of Cup Car 1.0. A glimpse into the immersive world that’s about to evolve even further.
